Introduced in 1997 as the second “shaped” watch collection of A. Lange & Söhne, the Cabaret collection curated its own cult following over the years. Offered in various metals and complications, one of the most sought after of the line however was the Cabaret “Darth” in platinum case with full black dial, produced only from 1999 to 2004.

Richard Lange “Boutique Edition”

Richard Lange collection, introduced in 2006, is conceived as a testament to one of the brand’s most important pillars, son of F.A. Lange. Richard Lange “Boutique Edition” here comes in white gold, measures 40 x 10.5 mm with brilliant blued steel hands to differ from the others.

Little Lange 1 Moonphase “25th Anniversary”

Case: White gold – 36.8 x 9.5 mm.

Part of Lange 1s “25th Anniversary” celebrations collection, the reference 182.066 was introduced in 2019 as a limited edition of only 25 pieces in white gold, with a stunning hand-engraved Moonphase disc on the front, and “25” engraved balance cock on the back.  

 

Distinguished by its blue details, this fantastic piece is sourced for a collector and now sold.

Grand Lange 1 “Luminous”

Case: White gold – 41.9 x 9.9 mm.

Scope: Original box & papers.

Condition: From 2006, very well taken care of, excellent overall.

Introduced in 2004 and produced only until 2008, the Grand Lange 1 “Luminous” is the pathway to the current, deservedly famous “Lumen” collection. White gold case measures 41.9 x 9.9 mm, wearing utterly comfortable on the wrist, paired with eccentric dial.

Lange 1 Pink Gold / Grey Dial

Case: Pink gold – 38.5 x 9.8 mm.

Scope: Original box & papers.

Condition: From 2007, very well taken care of, excellent overall.

Produced between 2003 and 2010, the Lange 1 reference 101.033 is one of the two models of the collection with the striking grey dial. Pink gold case measures 38.5 x 9.8 mm. The dial features concentric circles in sub-dials.

Langematik Perpetual (Reserved)

Case: Yellow gold – 38.5 x 10.2 mm

Scope: Original box & papers

Condition: Freshly serviced by A. Lange & Söhne, like new.

Langematik perpetual, introduced in 2001, was produced in numerous combinations. Unlike the platinum and pink gold examples (15+ years), the yellow gold variant was produced only in between 2001- 2007. The piece measures 38.5 x 10.2 mm, just at the sweet spot.

1815 “200th Anniversary”

Case: Platinum – 40 x 8.8 mm.

The 1815 “200th Anniversary” piece in platinum was introduced in 2015 in celebrations of Ferdinand Adolph Lange’s 200th birth year. The platinum piece measures 40 x 8.8 mm coupled with a striking black dial, with a limitation of 200 pieces.

If there’s one watch from Lange’s catalogue like no other, it is the Zeitwerk. From its concept, to its overall design and one of a kind movement, it is safe to say that the Zeitwerk is perhaps as important as the Lange 1 – or dare I say, it is the second renaissance of the brand.

 

The present example is the platinum variant, individually limited to 200 pieces. This gem is from 2011, comes with original box and papers and in unpolished, original condition.
