Langematik Wellendorff Set

Read About This Piece

Langematik — 358 Series

Introduced at Baselworld 1997 as A. Lange & Söhne’s first automatic wristwatch, the Langematik brought the manufacture’s signature outsize date display to a self-winding movement for the first time. The in-house L921.4 caliber is created by Helmut Geyer, and without a doubt the finest self-winding caliber A. Lange & Söhne has ever put out. Albeit the Langematik collection have been around for about a decade the reference 358.xxx holds a very, very special place within A. Lange & Söhne's history.

Wellendorff, founded in 1893 in Pforzheim, Germany, is among the most revered names in European jewellery making — their silk-wrapped gold bracelets and hand-engraved enamel work have been collected by royalty and aristocracy for over a century. The collaboration with A. Lange & Söhne produced a series of matched sets, each watch accompanied by a bespoke Wellendorff bracelet in the same precious metal. The Langematik set of 6 displayed here comprises of classic precious metals, with extremely low production numbers. The pink gold references, as well as the Darth 358.025X are displayed for the first time at Langepedia.com. This is a one-in-a-lifetime set of 6, in NOS condition, with original box and papers, and even with solid-casebacks. I am very proud to offer this incredible set of 6.
